  1                                        AN ACT
  2    APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL MONEYS TO THE OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR FOR THE MILITARY
  3        DIVISION FOR FISCAL YEAR 2004; PROVIDING ADDITIONAL  FULL-TIME  EQUIVALENT
  4        POSITIONS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
                                                                        
  5    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
                                                                        
  6        SECTION  1.  In  addition  to the appropriation made in Section 1, Chapter
  7    323, Laws of 2003, there is hereby appropriated to the Office of the  Governor
  8    for  the Military Division the following amount to be expended from the desig-
  9    nated program according to the designated expense class from the  listed  fund
 10    for the period July 1, 2003, through June 30, 2004:

 14    FROM:

 16        SECTION 2.  In addition to the authorization granted in Section 3, Chapter
 17    323,  Laws  of  2003,  the Military Division is authorized three (3) full-time
 18    equivalent positions for the period July 1, 2003, through June 30, 2004.
                                                                        
 19        SECTION 3.  An emergency existing  therefor,  which  emergency  is  hereby
 20    declared to exist, this act shall be in full force and effect on and after its
 21    passage and approval.

Statement of Purpose
RS13683

This is a Fiscal Year 2004 supplemental appropriation for the Military Division within the Executive Office of the Governor. This supplemental will enable the Military Division to hire three positions as a part of a Department of Homeland Security Office of Domestic Preparedness grant.
