  1                                        AN ACT
  2    APPROPRIATING MONEYS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR FOR FISCAL YEAR 2005; AND LIM-
  3        ITING THE NUMBER OF FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT POSITIONS.
                                                                        
  4    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
                                                                        
  5        SECTION 1.  There is hereby appropriated to the Department  of  Labor  the
  6    following  amounts  to be expended for the designated program according to the
  7    designated expense classes from the listed funds for the period July 1,  2004,
  8    through June 30, 2005:

 21        SECTION 2.  In accordance with Section 67-3519, Idaho Code, the Department
 22    of  Labor  is authorized no more than seven (7) full-time equivalent positions
 23    at any point during the period July 1, 2004, through June 30,  2005,  for  the
 24    program  specified in Section 1 of this act, unless specifically authorized by
 25    the Governor. The Joint  Finance-Appropriations  Committee  will  be  notified
 26    promptly of any increased positions so authorized.

This is the fiscal year 2005 appropriation for the Department of Labor in the amount of $552,400. This bill funds the only appropriated program at the Department–the Wage and Hour Division. This appropriation has a mix of General Funds, dedicated funds and federal funds.
