BY APPROPRIATIONS COMMITTEE
1 AN ACT
2 APPROPRIATING MONEYS TO THE OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR FOR THE OFFICE OF SPECIES
3 CONSERVATION FOR FISCAL YEAR 2005; AND LIMITING THE NUMBER OF FULL-TIME
4 EQUIVALENT POSITIONS.
5 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
6 SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Office of the Governor for
7 the Office of Species Conservation the following amounts to be expended
8 according to the designated expense classes from the listed funds for the
9 period July 1, 2004, through June 30, 2005:

22 SECTION 2. In accordance with Section 67-3519, Idaho Code, the Office of
23 Species Conservation is authorized no more than six (6) full-time equivalent
24 positions at any point during the period July 1, 2004, through June 30, 2005,
25 for the program specified in Section 1 of this act, unless specifically autho-
26 rized by the Governor. The Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee will be
27 notified promptly of any increased positions so authorized.

This is the fiscal year 2005 appropriation for the Office of Species Conservation in the amount of $2,080,100. Of that amount, $545,100 is from the General Fund, $35,000 is from miscellaneous revenues and $1,500,000 is from federal funds. The bill includes a full-time equivalent position cap of six.
