BY APPROPRIATIONS COMMITTEE
1 AN ACT
2 APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL MONEYS TO THE CATASTROPHIC HEALTH CARE COST FUND FOR
3 FISCAL YEAR 2005; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
4 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
5 SECTION 1. In addition to the appropriation made in Section 1, Chapter
6 34, Laws of 2004, there is hereby appropriated $3,675,000 from the General
7 Fund to be deposited in the Catastrophic Health Care Cost Fund for the period
8 July 1, 2004, through June 30, 2005.
9 SECTION 2. An emergency existing therefor, which emergency is hereby
10 declared to exist, this act shall be in full force and effect on and after its
11 passage and approval.

This is a FY 2005 Supplemental Appropriation to the Medically Indigent Health Care Program in the amount of $3,675,000 from the General Fund to cover costs that have exceeded available revenue. The appropriation is $3,100,000 ongoing and $575,000 one-time to the Catastrophic Health Care Cost Fund.
