2 RELATING TO BOND ISSUES BY THE STATE, POLITICAL SUBDIVISIONS AND OTHER PUBLIC
3 ENTITIES; AMENDING SECTION 67-1222, IDAHO CODE, TO REVISE INFORMATION ON
4 REPORTS TO BE FILED WITH THE STATE TREASURER REGARDING BOND ISSUES AND TO
5 MAKE A TECHNICAL CORRECTION.
6 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
7 SECTION 1. That Section 67-1222, Idaho Code, be, and the same is hereby
8 amended to read as follows:
9 67-1222. REPORTS TO BE FILED -- BOND ISSUES. Any department or agency of
10 the state of Idaho, political subdivision, municipal corporation, state uni-
11 versity or college, school or other special district, joint agreement entity,
12 public authority, public trust, nonprofit corporation or other organization
13 authorized by the laws of the state of Idaho to issue bonds shall submit to
14 the state treasurer a report as required by this section. The report shall
15 include, but not be limited to, the following information: the borrower, the
16 amount of the issue, interest dates including coupon and yield to investor
17 rate, date of the bonds, maturity schedule including the amount and date, the
18 redemption features, bond counsel, financial advisor, the costs to issue
19 including fees and underwriter's compensation, and a description of the proj-
20 ect to be financed. The state treasurer shall promulgate regulations rules
21 necessary to implement the provisions of this section.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS 15095
The purpose of this bill is to amend the section of Idaho Code
that currently lists the types of debt and bond issue information
that is collected by the State Treasurer from the stated
entities. This amendment would simplify the reporting process
for the entities and the State Treasurer's Office.
