  1                                        AN ACT
  2    APPROPRIATING MONEYS FOR THE COMMISSION FOR THE BLIND  AND  VISUALLY  IMPAIRED
  3        FOR  FISCAL  YEAR  2006; LIMITING THE NUMBER OF FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT POSI-
  4        TIONS; AND EXPRESSING LEGISLATIVE INTENT WITH RESPECT TO CERTAIN  EXPENDI-
  5        TURES.
                                                                        
  6    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
                                                                        
  7        SECTION 1.  There is hereby appropriated to the Office of the Governor for
  8    the Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired the following amounts to be
  9    expended according to the designated expense classes from the listed funds for
 10    the period July 1, 2005, through June 30, 2006:

 28        SECTION 2.  In accordance with Section 67-3519, Idaho Code, the Commission
 29    for the Blind and Visually Impaired is authorized no more than thirty-nine and
 30    fifty-hundredths  (39.50)  full-time  equivalent positions at any point during
 31    the period July 1, 2005, through June 30, 2006, for the program  specified  in
 32    Section  1  of  this  act, unless specifically authorized by the Governor. The
 33    Joint Finance-Appropriations  Committee  will  be  notified  promptly  of  any
 34    increased positions so authorized.
                                                                        
 35        SECTION  3.  It  is  the intent of the Legislature that the Commission for
 36    the Blind and Visually Impaired shall continue to support the  State  Indepen-
 37    dent  Living  Council  in fiscal year 2006 at the same level as in fiscal year
 38    2005.
