                            SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 107
                                                                        
                              BY HEALTH AND WELFARE COMMITTEE
                                                                        
  1                               A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
  2    STATING FINDINGS OF THE LEGISLATURE AND REJECTING CERTAIN RULES OF THE  BUREAU
  3        OF OCCUPATIONAL LICENSES GOVERNING THE BOARD OF SOCIAL WORK EXAMINERS.
                                                                        
  4    Be It Resolved by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
                                                                        
  5        WHEREAS,  the  Legislature  is  vested  with authority to reject executive
  6    agency rules under the provisions of Section 67-5291, Idaho Code, in the event
  7    that the Legislature finds that the rules are not consistent with  legislative
  8    intent; and
  9        WHEREAS,  it  is  the finding of the Legislature that certain rules of the
 10    Bureau of Occupational Licenses governing the Board of Social  Work  Examiners
 11    are not consistent with legislative intent and should be rejected.
 12        NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the members of the First Regular Session
 13    of the Fifty-eighth Idaho Legislature, the Senate and the House of Representa-
 14    tives  concurring  therein,  that IDAPA 24.14.01, Rules Governing the Board of
 15    Social Work Examiners, Section 202, relating to social work supervisor  regis-
 16    tration,  Subsections 01.b, 01.c and 02.c only, Rules of the Bureau of Occupa-
 17    tional Licenses adopted as pending rules under Docket Number 24-1401-0401, be,
 18    and the same are hereby rejected and declared null, void and of no  force  and
 19    effect.

                      STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

This concurrent resolution would reject certain  rules of the
Bureau of Occupational Licenses governing the Board of Social
Work Examiners that are not consistent with legislative intent. 
The effect of this resolution, if adopted by both houses, would
be to prevent the agency rules from going into effect.

This concurrent resolution has no fiscal impact
