  2    APPROPRIATING MONEYS TO THE DIVISION OF BUILDING SAFETY FOR FISCAL  YEAR  2006
  3        AND LIMITING THE NUMBER OF FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT POSITIONS.
                                                                        
  4    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
                                                                        
  5        SECTION  1.  There  is  hereby  appropriated  to  the Division of Building
  6    Safety in the Department of Self-Governing Agencies the following  amounts  to
  7    be  expended according to the designated expense classes from the listed funds
  8    for the period July 1, 2005, through June 30, 2006:

 42        SECTION 2.  In accordance with Section 67-3519, Idaho Code,  the  Division
 43    of  Building Safety in the Department of Self-Governing Agencies is authorized

  1    no more than one hundred thirty-eight and one-tenth (138.1) full-time  equiva-
  2    lent  positions  at any point during the period July 1, 2005, through June 30,
  3    2006, for the programs specified in Section 1 of this act, unless specifically
  4    authorized by the Governor. The Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee will be
  5    notified promptly of any increased positions so authorized.

This is the fiscal year 2006 appropriation for the Division of Building Safety in the amount of $11,021,500. The source of funding is primarily dedicated funds with a smaller amount of federal funds. This bill provides spending authority for two enhancements.
