  1                                        AN ACT
  2    RELATING TO PSYCHOLOGISTS; AMENDING SECTION 54-2315, IDAHO CODE,  TO  INCREASE
  3        THE MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE FEE FOR LICENSE RENEWALS.
                                                                        
  4    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
                                                                        
  5        SECTION  1.  That  Section 54-2315, Idaho Code, be, and the same is hereby
  6    amended to read as follows:
                                                                        
  7        54-2315.  ADMINISTRATION BY BUREAU OF OCCUPATIONAL  LICENSES  --  FEE  FOR
  8    RENEWAL  OF LICENSE -- RENEWAL AND REINSTATEMENT. This chapter shall be admin-
  9    istered by the bureau of occupational licenses. The fee for renewal of license
 10    shall be a fee as established by board rule not to exceed  two  three  hundred
 11    twenty-five  dollars ($225300) per annum. All licenses issued under the provi-
 12    sions of this chapter shall be subject to  annual  renewal  and  shall  expire
 13    unless  renewed  in  the manner prescribed by the board regarding applications
 14    for renewal, continuing education, and fees. License renewal and reinstatement
 15    shall be in accordance with section 67-2614, Idaho Code.

Statement of Purpose / Fiscal Impact


                      STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
                                
                            RS 15411

     Amend section 54-2315, Idaho Code, to increase the cap on
the fees for renewal of licenses.  This increase would allow the
Board to promulgate rules in the future if their budget moves
into a deficit situation.






                          FISCAL NOTE
     There is no fiscal impact on general or dedicated funds.
