  1                                    A PROCLAMATION
  2    HONORING THE CENTENNIAL OF LONGFELLOW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.
                                                                        
  3        We, the members of the House of Representatives  of  the  State  of  Idaho
  4    assembled in the Second Regular Session of the Fifty-eighth Idaho Legislature,
  5    do hereby proclaim:
                                                                        
  6        WHEREAS,  Longfellow Elementary School in Boise, Idaho, is named after the
  7    great American poet, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow; and
  8        WHEREAS, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's birthday is February 27th; and
  9        WHEREAS, Longfellow Elementary School is currently celebrating its centen-
 10    nial, having opened its doors to the children of Boise's North End one hundred
 11    years ago, and having continuously provided quality education  to  generations
 12    of Idaho children since then.
 13        NOW,  THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED by the members of the House of Represen-
 14    tatives assembled in the Second Regular Session of the Fifty-eighth Idaho Leg-
 15    islature, that we declare February  27,  2006,  to  be  Longfellow  Elementary
 16    School Day.
