                                BY APPROPRIATIONS COMMITTEE

  1                                        AN ACT
  2    APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL MONEYS TO THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL FOR THE  OFFICE  OF
  3        PERFORMANCE EVALUATIONS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2009.

  4    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:

  5        SECTION  1.  In addition to any other appropriation provided by law, there
  6    is hereby appropriated to the Legislative Council for the  Office  of  Perfor-
  7    mance  Evaluations  the  sum  of $550,000 from the General Fund for the period
  8    July 1, 2008, through June 30, 2009. Such moneys shall be used by  the  Office
  9    of  Performance  Evaluations  to manage an independent evaluation of the Idaho
 10    Transportation Department beginning in fiscal year 2009.

This is a trailer appropriation to the Office of Performance Evaluations to implement the provisions of HCR50aa. HCR50aa requests the Joint Legislative Oversight Committee to direct the Office of Performance Evaluations to commission an independent evaluation of the Idaho Transportation Department.

This bill provides a one-time appropriation of $550,000 from the General Fund to the Office of Performance Evaluations.
