  1                                        AN ACT
  2    RELATING TO THE APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND WELFARE;  AMEND-
  3        ING  SECTION  1, CHAPTER 294, LAWS OF 2007, TO REVISE THE APPROPRIATION TO
  4        THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND WELFARE FOR SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT IN  THE
  5        SUBSTANCE  ABUSE  TREATMENT AND PREVENTION PROGRAM; AND DECLARING AN EMER-
  6        GENCY.

  7    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:

  8        SECTION 1.  The Section 1, Chapter 294, Laws of 2007, be, and the same  is
  9    hereby amended to read as follows:

 10        SECTION  1.  There  is hereby appropriated to the Department of Health and
 11    Welfare for substance abuse services in the Substance Abuse Treatment and Pre-
 12    vention Program the following amounts to be expended according to  the  desig-
 13    nated  expense  classes  from  the  listed  funds for the period July 1, 2007,
 14    through June 30, 2008:

This FY 2008 supplemental appropriation is for the Department of Health and Welfare Substance Abuse Treatment and Prevention program. The funding will be used to pay for the 12th month of the Management Service Contract that covers the operations of the statewide substance abuse treatment program.
