                                    BY FINANCE COMMITTEE

  1                                        AN ACT
  2    APPROPRIATING MONEYS TO THE LAVA HOT SPRINGS FOUNDATION FOR FISCAL YEAR  2009;
  3        AND LIMITING THE NUMBER OF AUTHORIZED FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT POSITIONS.

  4    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:

  5        SECTION  1.  There  is hereby appropriated to the Lava Hot Springs Founda-
  6    tion the following amounts to be expended according to the designated  expense
  7    classes  from  the  listed funds for the period July 1, 2008, through June 30,
  8    2009:

 19        SECTION 2.  In accordance with Section 67-3519, Idaho Code, the  Lava  Hot
 20    Springs Foundation is authorized no more than eleven (11) full-time equivalent
 21    positions  at any point during the period July 1, 2008, through June 30, 2009,
 22    for the program specified in  Section  1  of  this  act,  unless  specifically
 23    authorized by the Governor. The Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee will be
 24    notified promptly of any increased positions so authorized.

This is the fiscal year 2009 Appropriation for Lava Hot Springs in the amount of $1,634,900. The funding source for this appropriation comes from receipts from the swimming pool complex and hot pools at Lava Hot Springs.
