                                    SENATE BILL NO. 1504

                                    BY FINANCE COMMITTEE

  1                                        AN ACT
  2    APPROPRIATING MONEYS TO THE LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR FOR FISCAL YEAR 2009; AND LIM-
  3        ITING THE NUMBER OF FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT POSITIONS.

  4    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:

  5        SECTION 1.  There is hereby appropriated $162,600 to the Lieutenant Gover-
  6    nor  from the General Fund for the period July 1, 2008, through June 30, 2009.

  7        SECTION 2.  In accordance with Section 67-3519, Idaho Code, the Office  of
  8    the Lieutenant Governor is authorized no more than three (3) full-time equiva-
  9    lent  positions  at any point during the period July 1, 2008, through June 30,
 10    2009, for the program specified in Section 1 of this act, unless  specifically
 11    authorized by the Governor. The Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee will be
 12    notified promptly of any increased positions so authorized.
