                                    BY FINANCE COMMITTEE

  1                                        AN ACT
  2    APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL MONEYS TO THE SECRETARY  OF  STATE  FOR  FISCAL  YEAR
  3        2009.

  4    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:

  5        SECTION  1.  In addition to any other appropriation provided by law, there
  6    is hereby appropriated to the Secretary of State, the following amount  to  be
  7    expended  according to the designated expense classes from the listed fund for
  8    the period July 1, 2008, through June 30, 2009, for the purpose of  establish-
  9    ing an address confidentiality program for victims of violence:

 12    Operating Expenditures                                                  20,000

Statement of Purpose

This is the trailer appropriation to H501, which directs the Secretary of State to implement a program that protects the addresses of victims of violence.

Fiscal Note

This bill increases spending authority to the Secretary of State from the General Fund in the amount of $30,000 in one-time funding for personnel and $20,000 in one-time funding for operations for a total of $50,000.
