                             BY REVENUE AND TAXATION COMMITTEE

  1                                        AN ACT
  2    RELATING TO SALES TAX EXEMPTIONS;  REPEALING  SECTION  63-3622S,  IDAHO  CODE,
  3        RELATING TO RADIO AND TELEVISION BROADCASTING EQUIPMENT.

  4    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:

  5        SECTION  1.  That Section 63-3622S, Idaho Code, be, and the same is hereby
  6    repealed.

Statement of Purpose / Fiscal Impact

                       STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

                             RS 17540

     The purpose of this legislation is to repeal Section 63-
3622S of Idaho Code which deals with radio and television
broadcasting equipment.  This legislation is the result of the
recommendations from the Interim Committee on Exemptions.  



                           FISCAL NOTE

     Increase to general fund $2,575,000 for 2009.
