1 AN ACT
2 APPROPRIATING MONEYS FOR THE STATE LIQUOR DISPENSARY FOR FISCAL YEAR 2009;
3 LIMITING THE NUMBER OF FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT POSITIONS; TRANSFERRING MONEYS
4 FROM THE LIQUOR CONTROL FUND TO THE LIQUOR WAREHOUSE REMODEL FUND; AND
5 DECLARING AN EMERGENCY FOR SECTION 3 OF THIS ACT.
6 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
7 SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Office of the Governor for
8 the State Liquor Dispensary the following amounts to be expended according to
9 the designated expense classes from the listed fund for the period July 1,
10 2008, through June 30, 2009:

22 SECTION 2. In accordance with Section 67-3519, Idaho Code, the State
23 Liquor Dispensary is authorized no more than one hundred ninety-seven (197)
24 full-time equivalent positions at any point during the period July 1, 2008,
25 through June 30, 2009, for the program specified in Section 1 of this act,
26 unless specifically authorized by the Governor. The Joint Finance-
27 Appropriations Committee will be notified promptly of any increased positions
28 so authorized.
29 SECTION 3. On or before June 30, 2008, the State Controller, at the
30 request of the director of the State Liquor Dispensary, shall transfer
31 $3,245,400 from the Liquor Control Fund to the Liquor Warehouse Remodel Fund.
32 SECTION 4. An emergency existing therefor, which emergency is hereby
33 declared to exist, Section 3 of this act shall be in full force and effect on
34 and after passage and approval.
