1 AN ACT
2 APPROPRIATING MONEYS TO THE DIVISION OF BUILDING SAFETY FOR FISCAL YEAR 2009;
3 LIMITING THE NUMBER OF FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT POSITIONS; AND REAPPROPRIATING
4 CERTAIN UNEXPENDED AND UNENCUMBERED FUND BALANCES.
5 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
6 SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Division of Building
7 Safety in the Department of Self-Governing Agencies the following amounts to
8 be expended according to the designated expense classes from the listed funds
9 for the period July 1, 2008, through June 30, 2009:

31 SECTION 2. In accordance with Section 67-3519, Idaho Code, the Division
32 of Building Safety in the Department of Self-Governing Agencies is authorized
33 no more than one hundred fifty-two (152) full-time equivalent positions at any
34 point during the period July 1, 2008, through June 30, 2009, for the programs
35 specified in Section 1 of this act, unless specifically authorized by the Gov-
36 ernor. The Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee will be notified promptly of
37 any increased positions so authorized.
38 SECTION 3. There is hereby reappropriated to the Division of Building
39 Safety the unexpended and unencumbered balance of operating expenditures
40 appropriated for the period July 1, 2007, through June 30, 2008, for licensing
41 software to be used for nonrecurring expenditures for the purchase of licens-
42 ing software for the period July 1, 2008, through June 30, 2009.
