1 AN ACT
2 APPROPRIATING MONEYS TO THE OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR FOR THE HUMAN RIGHTS COM-
3 MISSION FOR FISCAL YEAR 2009; LIMITING THE NUMBER OF FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT
4 POSITIONS; APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL MONEYS TO THE OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR
5 FOR THE HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION FOR FISCAL YEAR 2008; AND DECLARING AN
6 EMERGENCY FOR SECTION 3 OF THIS ACT.
7 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
8 SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Office of the Governor for
9 the Human Rights Commission the following amounts to be expended according to
10 the designated expense classes from the listed funds for the period July 1,
11 2008, through June 30, 2009:

22 SECTION 2. In accordance with Section 67-3519, Idaho Code, the Human
23 Rights Commission is authorized no more than eleven (11) full-time equivalent
24 positions at any point during the period July 1, 2008, through June 30, 2009,
25 for the program specified in Section 1 of this act, unless specifically
26 authorized by the Governor. The Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee will be
27 notified promptly of any increased positions so authorized.
28 SECTION 3. In addition to the appropriation made in Section 1, Chapter
29 214, Laws of 2007, there is hereby appropriated to the Office of the Governor
30 for the Human Rights Commission the following amount to be expended according
31 to the designated expense class from the listed funds for the period July 1,
32 2007, through June 30, 2008:

40 SECTION 4. An emergency existing therefor, which emergency is hereby
