  1                                        AN ACT
  2    APPROPRIATING MONEYS TO THE DIVISION OF VETERANS SERVICES WITHIN  THE  DEPART-
  3        MENT  OF  SELF-GOVERNING  AGENCIES  FOR FISCAL YEAR 2004; AND LIMITING THE
  4        NUMBER OF FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT POSITIONS.
                                                                        
  5    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
                                                                        
  6        SECTION 1.  There is hereby appropriated to the Division of Veterans  Ser-
  7    vices  within  the Department of Self-Governing Agencies the following amounts
  8    to be expended according to the designated expense  classes  from  the  listed
  9    funds for the period July 1, 2003, through June 30, 2004:

 13    Veterans Services Endowment Income Fund                                571,700
 14    Federal Grant Fund                                                   4,964,600

 16        SECTION  2.  In  accordance with Section 67-3519, Idaho Code, the Division
 17    of Veterans Services is authorized no more than three hundred five  and  thir-
 18    ty-two  hundredths (305.32) full-time equivalent positions at any point during
 19    the period July 1, 2003, through June 30, 2004, unless specifically authorized
 20    by the Governor. The Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee will  be  notified
 21    promptly of any increased positions so authorized.

Appropriates moneys for the Division of Veterans Services for fiscal year 2004. The appropriation includes $2,085,000 from the General Fund, $9,733,200 from dedicated funds, and $4,964,600 from federal funds for a total of $16,782,800. Full-Time Positions (FTP) are capped at 305.32.
