|||| LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF IDAHO |||| Fifty-seventh Legislature First Regular Session - 2003IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES HOUSE BILL NO. 253 BY STATE AFFAIRS COMMITTEE 1 AN ACT 2 RELATING TO PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION OF RECREATION LAWS; AMENDING SECTION 3 67-7129, IDAHO CODE, TO PROVIDE FOR INFRACTION PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS OF 4 CERTAIN STATUTES OR RULES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION. 5 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho: 6 SECTION 1. That Section 67-7129, Idaho Code, be, and the same is hereby 7 amended to read as follows: 8 67-7129. PENALTIES. Unless otherwise specifically provided, aAny viola- 9 tion of the provisions ofsections 67-7122 through 67-7128, Idaho Codethis 10 chapter or any rule promulgated by the department pursuant to this chapter, 11 shall bedeemed a violation subject to a fine of not less than ten dollars12($10.00) and not more than two hundred dollars ($200) plus standard court13costsan infraction and be punished as provided in section 18-111, Idaho Code.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE RS 12954 The purpose of this legislation is to reduce some penalties from misdemeanors to infractions for certain recreation laws.
