SENATE BILL 1079

ENGINEERS AND SURVEYORS – Amends existing law to revise the required form of a plat offered for record and to provide for new requirements on what shall be displayed on a plat; to revise terminology relating to certification as an intern and assignment to professional examinations, to revise the qualifications for certification as an engineer intern or land survey intern; to clarify language relating to failure of all or part of an examination; to clarify language relating to the defacing of monumentation; and to revise language relating to required content for a record of survey.
