                               BY APPROPRIATIONS COMMITTEE

 1                                        AN ACT
 2    APPROPRIATING MONEYS TO THE PUBLIC HEALTH TRUST FUND FOR THE PANHANDLE  HEALTH
 3        DISTRICT  TO  BE  USED FOR THE SPOKANE VALLEY-RATHDRUM PRAIRIE AQUIFER FOR
 4        FISCAL YEAR 1999.

 5    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:

 6        SECTION 1.  There is hereby appropriated $58,000 from the General Fund  to
 7    be deposited in the Public Health Trust Fund for the Panhandle Health District
 8    to be used for the Spokane-Valley-Rathdrum Prairie Aquifer for the period July
 9    1, 1998, through June 30, 1999.

                        STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
                              RS 08215
                                  
    
    This bill appropriates moneys to the Public Health Trust Fund for
    the Panhandle Health District to be used for the Spokane Valley
           Rathdrum Prairie Aquifer for fiscal year 1999.
    
                            FISCAL NOTE
    
    The fiscal impact of this legislation will be a one-time appropriation of $58,000 
    from the General Fund for fiscal year 1999 to replace federal funds that are no 
    longer available.
