                                BY STATE AFFAIRS COMMITTEE

 1                                        AN ACT
 2    RELATING TO THE NUMBER OF YEARS AN ELECTED OFFICIAL MAY SERVE; REPEALING  SEC-
 3        TIONS 33-443, 34-907 AND 50-478, IDAHO CODE.

 4    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:

 5        SECTION  1.  That  Sections 33-443, 34-907 and 50-478, Idaho Code, be, and
 6    the same are hereby repealed.

Statement of Purpose / Fiscal Impact

                       STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

                              RS8663

This legislation repeals term limits for state elected officials,
state legislators, county commissioners, other county elected
officials, school board trustees, mayors, and city council
members.

                           FISCAL NOTE

There is no fiscal impact
