                               BY APPROPRIATIONS COMMITTEE

 1                                        AN ACT
 2    APPROPRIATING MONEYS TO THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR THE COMMISSION ON THE  ARTS
 3        FOR  FISCAL  YEAR  2000;  AND  LIMITING THE NUMBER OF FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT
 4        POSITIONS.

 5    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:

 6        SECTION 1.  There is hereby appropriated to the Secretary of State for the
 7    Commission on the Arts, the following amounts, to be expended according to the
 8    designated expense classes from the listed funds for the period July 1,  1999,
 9    through June 30, 2000:

21        SECTION 2.  In accordance with Section 67-3519, Idaho Code, the Commission
22    on  the Arts is authorized no more than eleven (11) full-time equivalent posi-
23    tions at any point during the period July 1, 1999, through June 30, 2000,  for
24    the program specified in Section 1 of this act, unless specifically authorized
25    by  the  Governor. The Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee will be notified
26    promptly of any increased positions so authorized.

This is the FY 2000 Appropriation for the Idaho Commission on the Arts in the Office of
the Secretary of State.
