H0340|||| LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF IDAHO |||| Fifty-fifth Legislature First Regular Session - 1999IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES HOUSE BILL NO. 340 BY APPROPRIATIONS COMMITTEE 1 AN ACT 2 APPROPRIATING MONEYS TO THE OFFICE OF THE STATE APPELLATE PUBLIC DEFENDER FOR 3 FISCAL YEAR 2000; AND LIMITING THE NUMBER OF AUTHORIZED FULL-TIME EQUIVA- 4 LENT POSITIONS. 5 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho: 6 SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Office of the State Appel- 7 late Public Defender the following amounts, to be expended for the designated 8 program according to the designated expense classes from the listed fund for 9 the period July 1, 1999, through June 30, 2000: 10 FOR: 11 Personnel Costs $ 678,700 12 Operating Expenditures 343,900 13 TOTAL $1,022,600 14 FROM: 15 General Fund $1,022,600 16 SECTION 2. In accordance with Section 67-3519, Idaho Code, the Office of 17 the State Appellate Public Defender is authorized no more than eleven (11) 18 full-time equivalent positions at any point during the period July 1, 1999, 19 through June 30, 2000, for the program specified in Section 1 of this act, 20 unless specifically authorized by the Governor. The Joint Finance- 21 Appropriations Committee will be notified promptly of any increased positions 22 so authorized.

Defender, under the Department of Self-Governing Agencies.
