S1268|||| LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF IDAHO |||| Fifty-fifth Legislature First Regular Session - 1999IN THE SENATE SENATE BILL NO. 1268 BY FINANCE COMMITTEE 1 AN ACT 2 APPROPRIATING MONEYS TO THE SOIL CONSERVATION COMMISSION FOR FISCAL YEAR 2000; 3 AND LIMITING THE NUMBER OF AUTHORIZED FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT POSITIONS. 4 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho: 5 SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Soil Conservation Commis- 6 sion in the Department of Agriculture, the following amounts, to be expended 7 according to the designated expense classes from the listed funds for the 8 period July 1, 1999, through June 30, 2000: 9 FOR 10 FOR FOR FOR TRUSTEE AND 11 PERSONNEL OPERATING CAPITAL BENEFIT 12 COSTS EXPENDITURES OUTLAY PAYMENTS TOTAL 13 FROM: 14 General 15 Fund $1,184,900 $109,900 $38,100 $ 563,900 $1,896,800 16 Resource 17 Conservation and 18 Rangeland 19 Development 20 Fund 66,700 411,800 1,599,000 2,077,500 21 Federal Grant 22 Fund 112,900 148,300 261,200 23 TOTAL $1,364,500 $670,000 $38,100 $2,162,900 $4,235,500 24 SECTION 2. In accordance with Section 67-3519, Idaho Code, the Soil Con- 25 servation Commission is authorized no more than twenty-four (24) full-time 26 equivalent positions at any point during the period July 1, 1999, through June 27 30, 2000, for the program specified in Section 1 of this act, unless specifi- 28 cally authorized by the Governor. The Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee 29 will be notified promptly of any increased positions so authorized.

This is the fiscal year 2000 appropriation for the Soil Conservation Commission in the
amount of $4,235,500.
