1 AN ACT
2 APPROPRIATING MONEYS FOR THE STATE LIQUOR DISPENSARY FOR FISCAL YEAR 2001;
3 LIMITING THE NUMBER OF FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT POSITIONS; DIRECTING THE STATE
4 CONTROLLER TO TRANSFER CERTAIN FUNDS TO THE PERMANENT BUILDING FUND; AND
5 DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
6 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
7 SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Office of the Governor for
8 the State Liquor Dispensary the following amounts, to be expended according to
9 the designated expense classes from the listed fund for the period July 1,
10 2000, through June 30, 2001:
11 FOR:
12 Personnel Costs $ 6,291,600
13 Operating Expenses 3,729,400
14 Capital Outlay 337,400
15 TOTAL $10,358,400
16 FROM:
17 Liquor Control Fund $10,358,400
18 SECTION 2. In accordance with Section 67-3519, Idaho Code, the State
19 Liquor Dispensary is authorized no more than one hundred forty-five (145)
20 full-time equivalent positions at any point during the period July 1, 2000,
21 through June 30, 2001, for the program specified in Section 1 of this act,
22 unless specifically authorized by the Governor. The Joint Finance-
23 Appropriations Committee will be notified promptly of any increased positions
24 so authorized.
25 SECTION 3. The State Controller shall transfer $1,000,000 from the Liquor
26 Control Fund to the Permanent Building Fund.
27 SECTION 4. An emergency existing therefor, which emergency is hereby
28 declared to exist, Section 3 of this act shall be in full force and effect on
29 and after its passage and approval.
