SR107|||| LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF IDAHO |||| Fifty-fifth Legislature Second Regular Session - 2000IN THE SENATE SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 107 BY JUDICIARY AND RULES COMMITTEE 1 A SENATE RESOLUTION 2 STATING FINDINGS OF THE SENATE AND AMENDING SENATE RULE 15. 3 Be It Resolved by the Senate of the State of Idaho: 4 WHEREAS, the Senate finds that it is in the interest of the Senate that 5 Rule 15 of the Rules of the Senate be amended. 6 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the members of the Senate, assembled in 7 the Second Regular Session of the Fifty-fifth Idaho Legislature, that Senate 8 Rule 15 be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: 9 RULE 15 10 Recommitment or Referral.--(A) Bills may be recommitted or referred. When 11 such motion be made, unless the bill is before the Senate for consideration, 12 the bill shall be referred to by number and author and, in a few words, the 13 reason for the request may be stated. 14 Withdrawing Bills.--(B) Bills may be withdrawn by the same procedure as 15 they may be recommitted or referred except that the decision requires a two- 16 thirds majority. 17 Signing Bills.--(C) The President or President Pro Tempore shall, in the18presence of the Senate,sign all bills, resolutions, and memorials when passed 19 by both houses, and all writs, warrants, and subpoenas issued by order of the 20 Senate or any committee thereof, shall be under his hand, attested by the Sec- 21 retary.
