Statement of Purpose / Fiscal Impact

                        STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
                            RS09418

This legislation amends the existing law to increase the per diem
paid to the Idaho State Lottery Commissioners from $35 per day to
$50 per day, which is in addition to reimbursement for expenses
related to travel, lodging and meals.

                          FISCAL IMPACT

No impact on the General Fund. The increase of approximately $450
per year will come from the Idaho State lottery's dedicated funds
(fund source is sale of lottery tickets).
