  1                                        AN ACT
  2    APPROPRIATING MONEYS TO THE OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR FOR THE COMMISSION FOR  THE
  3        BLIND  AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED FOR FISCAL YEAR 2001; AND LIMITING THE NUMBER
  4        OF FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT POSITIONS.
                                                                        
  5    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
                                                                        
  6        SECTION 1.  There is hereby appropriated to the Office of the Governor for
  7    the Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired the following  amounts,  to
  8    be expended according to the designated expense classes from the listed funds,
  9    for the period July 1, 2000, through June 30, 2001:

 28        SECTION 2.  In accordance with Section 67-3519, Idaho Code, the Commission
 29    for  the  Blind and Visually Impaired is authorized no more than forty-two and
 30    fifty-hundredths (42.50) full-time equivalent positions at  any  point  during
 31    the  period  July 1, 2000, through June 30, 2001, for the program specified in
 32    Section 1 of this act, unless specifically authorized  by  the  Governor.  The
 33    Joint  Finance-Appropriations  Committee  will  be  notified  promptly  of any
 34    increased positions so authorized.

Appropriates moneys for the Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired for fiscal year 2001 in the amount of $1,365,000 from the General Fund, $285,000 from Dedicated Funds, and $2,269,900 from Federal Funds for a total of $3,919,900.
