                                    SENATE BILL NO. 1175
                                                                        
                                    BY FINANCE COMMITTEE
                                                                        
  1                                        AN ACT
  2    APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL MONEYS TO THE BOARD  OF  EXAMINERS  FOR  FISCAL  YEAR
  3        2001; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
                                                                        
  4    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
                                                                        
  5        SECTION  1.  In  addition  to the appropriation made in Section 1, Chapter
  6    379, Laws of 2000, there is hereby appropriated to the Department of Self-gov-
  7    erning Agencies the following amount to be expended for the designated program
  8    according to the designated expense class from the listed fund for the  period
  9    July 1, 2000, through June 30, 2001:
 10    I. BOARD OF EXAMINERS:
 11    FOR:
 12    Trustee and Benefit Payments                                          $124,000
 13    FROM:
 14    General Fund                                                          $124,000
                                                                        
 15        SECTION  2.  An  emergency  existing  therefor,  which emergency is hereby
 16    declared to exist, this act shall be in full force and effect on and after its
 17    passage and approval.

This is a fiscal year 2001 supplemental appropriation for the Board of Examiners totaling $124,000 in General Funds for one-time trustee and benefit payments to Ada County.
This supplemental is necessary to reimburse Ada County for the costs of prosecution of inmates in the state correctional facility pursuant to Idaho Code § 18-2507.

This supplemental provides the Board of Examiners an appropriation in the amount of $124,000.  Funding source is General Fund.
