2 RELATING TO HIGHWAYS; AMENDING CHAPTER 5, TITLE 40, IDAHO CODE, BY THE ADDI-
3 TION OF A NEW SECTION 40-513B, IDAHO CODE, TO DESIGNATE THAT PORTION OF
4 U.S. HIGHWAY 95 THROUGH THE CANYON BETWEEN MIDVALE AND CAMBRIDGE AS THE
5 "STU DOPF MEMORIAL HIGHWAY."
6 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
7 SECTION 1. That Chapter 5, Title 40, Idaho Code, be, and the same is
8 hereby amended by the addition thereto of a NEW SECTION, to be known and des-
9 ignated as Section 40-513B, Idaho Code, and to read as follows:
10 40-513B. PORTION OF U.S. HIGHWAY 95 DESIGNATED AS STU DOPF MEMORIAL HIGH-
11 WAY. That portion of United States Highway 95 through the canyon between
12 Midvale and Cambridge shall be known and designated as the "Stu Dopf Memorial
13 Highway" in honor of the journalist who was interested in increasing the ease
14 and safety of travel along U.S. Highway 95. The Idaho transportation depart-
15 ment shall identify areas suitable for posting markers along that portion of
16 U.S. Highway 95 indicating its designation as the Stu Dopf Memorial Highway.

This legislation amends Chapter 5, Title 40, Idaho Code, in order
to designate a portion of U.S. Highway 95 as the "Stu Dopf Memorial
Highway."
