  1                                        AN ACT
  2    APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL MONEYS TO THE LIEUTENANT  GOVERNOR  FOR  FISCAL  YEAR
  3        2002.
                                                                        
  4    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
                                                                        
  5        SECTION  1.  In  addition  to the appropriation made in Section 1 of House
  6    Bill No. 313, as enacted by the First Regular Session of the Fifty-sixth Idaho
  7    Legislature, there is hereby appropriated to the Lieutenant Governor the  fol-
  8    lowing amounts to be expended according to the designated expense classes from
  9    the listed fund for the period July 1, 2001, through June 30, 2002:

Statement of Purpose

Due to the fact that the incumbent Lieutenant Governor resides in north Idaho, it is anticipated the Office of the Lieutenant Governor will experience an increase in operating expenses. As such, the Lieutenant Governor requested additional funds for operating expenses.

The Lieutenant Governor also requested additional funds for a temporary position to provide administrative support during the legislation session.

This trailer bill provides the Office of the Lieutenant Governor an additional $5,500 in operating expenses and $6,600 in personnel costs for a total of $12,100 in General Funds.
