  1                                        AN ACT
  2    RELATING TO WILDLIFE; AMENDING CHAPTER 7, TITLE 36, IDAHO CODE, BY  THE  ADDI-
  3        TION  OF A NEW SECTION 36-716A, IDAHO CODE, TO PROVIDE FOR THE EFFECTIVITY
  4        AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE YELLOWSTONE GRIZZLY BEAR MANAGEMENT PLAN  CONDI-
  5        TIONED UPON THE AVAILABILITY OF ADEQUATE AND CONTINUOUS FEDERAL FUNDING.
                                                                        
  6    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
                                                                        
  7        SECTION  1.  That  Chapter  7,  Title  36, Idaho Code, be, and the same is
  8    hereby amended by the addition thereto of a NEW SECTION, to be known and  des-
  9    ignated as Section 36-716A, Idaho Code, and to read as follows:
                                                                        
 10        36-716A.   YELLOWSTONE GRIZZLY BEAR MANAGEMENT PLAN -- IMPLEMENTATION. The
 11    Yellowstone  grizzly  bear  management plan, developed and drafted pursuant to
 12    chapter 24, title 36, Idaho Code, shall be implemented  and  become  effective
 13    only upon the availability of adequate and continuous federal funding for man-
 14    agement  and conservation purposes as determined by the office of species con-
 15    servation in consultation with the Idaho department of fish and game.

This proposal will condition implementation of the Yellowstone 
Grizzly Bear Management Plan for delisting upon the availability 
of federal funding.
