This is a trailer appropriation bill to the Department of Fish and Game’s fee increase bill SB 1191. It provides an additional $1,466,800 in spending authority for dedicated and federal funds.

Fiscal Note |
Spending authority is provided as follows: 1) $176,500 for Regional Office Leases; 2) $340,000 for Fee Increase Priorities including $190,000 for the mule deer initiative and $150,000 for Access Yes!; 3) $169,000 for computer system maintenance 4) $3,200 for private Land Habitat Improvement; 5) $109,700 for Native Fish Management; 6) $91,000 for Outreach, Education and Volunteers; 7) $10,300 to improve boating and fishing access; 8) $159,100 for Fish Research; 9) $73,400 for Wildlife Management; 10) $134,600 for Hatchery Operations and Maintenance; and 11) $200,000 for fisheries and wildlife operating expenditures.
Of the total $1,032,600 is from Fish and Game Licenses, $31,500 is from other Fish and Game funds, $1,400 is from License Set-asides, $54,400 is from other set-asides, and $346,900 is from federal funds. The total includes $268,300 in personnel costs, $945,200 in operating expenditures and $253,300 in one-time capital outlay for a total of $1,466,800.
