SCHOOL LUNCH PERSONNEL - Amends existing law relating to the school lunch
program to remove the requirement that employer paid contributions to the

2 RELATING TO THE SCHOOL LUNCH PROGRAM; AMENDING SECTION 33-1015, IDAHO CODE, TO
3 REMOVE THE REQUIREMENT THAT EMPLOYER PAID CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE IDAHO PUB-
4 LIC EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT SYSTEM FOR SCHOOL LUNCH PERSONNEL BE PAID FROM
5 FUNDS RECEIVED BY SCHOOL DISTRICTS FROM GENERAL ACCOUNT APPROPRIATIONS.
6 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
7 SECTION 1. That Section 33-1015, Idaho Code, be, and the same is hereby
8 amended to read as follows:
9 33-1015. STATE REVENUE MATCHING UNDER THE NATIONAL SCHOOL LUNCH ACT. In
10 school districts where personnel are employed to operate a school lunch pro-
11 gram partially funded under provisions of the national school lunch act, all
12 employer paid contributions to the social security administration and Idaho's
13 public employee retirement system for school lunch personnel shall be paid
14 from funds received by school districts from the state general account appro-
15 priation for public school support.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS 15869
Amends existing law relating to National School Lunch Match
Act requirements to revise payments from the general fund for
school lunch personnel; allows retirement expenses to be paid
from the school lunch program.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact on the general fund
