BY APPROPRIATIONS COMMITTEE
1 AN ACT
2 APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL MONEYS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND WELFARE FOR
3 THE CHILD WELFARE PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEAR 2007; AND DECLARING AN EMER-
4 GENCY.
5 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
6 SECTION 1. In addition to the appropriation made in Section 1, Chapter
7 344, Laws of 2006, there is hereby appropriated to the Department of Health
8 and Welfare for the Child Welfare Program the following amounts, to be
9 expended according to the designated expense classes from the listed funds for
10 the period July 1, 2006, through June 30, 2007:

This bill is a supplemental appropriation for the Child Welfare Division within the Department of Health and Welfare. The monies will be used for costs associated with foster care children and families.

| Fiscal Note |
This legislation appropriates a total of $326,700 from the Cooperative Welfare Fund for fiscal year 2007. The breakdown of the total is $286,800 in dedicated spending authority and $39,900 in federal fund spending authority.
