  1                                        AN ACT
  2    APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL MONEYS TO THE SUPREME COURT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2008.
                                                                        
  3    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
                                                                        
  4        SECTION 1.  In addition to any other appropriation provided by law,  there
  5    is  hereby  appropriated  to  the Supreme Court the sum of $1,014,100 from the
  6    General Fund for the period July 1, 2007, through June 30, 2008, for the  pur-
  7    pose  of  increasing  judicial salaries and adding a new district judge in the
  8    Fourth Judicial District.

Statement of Purpose

This is a trailer appropriation bill for the Supreme Court for fiscal year 2008. The bill appropriates a total of $1,014,100 from the General Fund. Of that amount, $803,800 is for increasing judicial salaries by 5%, per House Bill 193; and $210,300 for is for adding one district judge and one court reporter to the Fourth Judicial District, per Senate Bill 1160.
