Fiscal Note |
The fiscal impact to the General Fund is $40,600 (ongoing). This represents approximately 4% of the total budget for this program.
The recommendation of the Interim Committee on Mental Health and Substance Abuse was for the state to fund 10% of the cost. The intent is to phase-in the state’s commitment over four years. As such, the estimated fiscal impact to the General Fund in the out-years is:
FY 2009: $41,300
FY 2010: $22,900
FY 2011: $9,200
