                                BY APPROPRIATIONS COMMITTEE
                                                                        
  1                                        AN ACT
  2    APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL MONEYS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH  AND  WELFARE  FOR
  3        THE DIVISION OF WELFARE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2007; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
                                                                        
  4    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
                                                                        
  5        SECTION  1.  In  addition  to the appropriation made in Section 1, Chapter
  6    345, Laws of 2006, there is hereby appropriated to the  Department  of  Health
  7    and  Welfare  for the Division of Welfare the following amount, to be expended
  8    for the designated program according to the designated expense class from  the
  9    listed fund for the period July 1, 2006, through June 30, 2007:
 10    BENEFIT PAYMENTS:
 11    FOR:
 12    Trustee and Benefit Payments                                           $50,000
 13    FROM:
 14    Cooperative Welfare Fund (Dedicated)                                   $50,000
                                                                        
 15        SECTION  2.  An  emergency  existing  therefor,  which emergency is hereby
 16    declared to exist, this act shall be in full force and effect on and after its
 17    passage and approval.

This legislation is a supplemental appropriation for the Self-Reliance program within the Department of Health and Welfare. The funding will be used for emergency assistance payments for foster care children.

This bill appropriates $50,000 of dedicated spending authority from the Cooperative Welfare Fund.
