STATEMENT OF PURPOSE RS 17567 The Idaho Department of Fish and Game has established "Short Range" big game seasons in some areas of the state. This legislation clarifies that to participate in one of these hunts a person must satisfy the requirements of Idaho Code 36-411 (b). FISCAL NOTE There is no appreciable fiscal impact. It is possible that a small number of persons might not participate in this hunt but they would probably participate in other hunts and no appreciable resulting loss of revenue would occur.
