1 AN ACT
2 APPROPRIATING MONEYS TO THE OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR FOR THE OFFICE OF ENERGY
3 RESOURCES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2009; AND LIMITING THE NUMBER OF AUTHORIZED
4 FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT POSITIONS.
5 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
6 SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Office of the Governor for
7 the Office of Energy Resources the following amounts to be expended from the
8 listed funds for the period July 1, 2008, through June 30, 2009:
9 FROM:
10 General Fund $ 42,500
11 Indirect Cost Recovery Fund 233,900
12 Miscellaneous Revenue Fund 922,800
13 Petroleum Price Violation Fund 1,008,700
14 Federal Grant Fund 908,700
15 TOTAL $3,116,600
16 SECTION 2. In accordance with Section 67-3519, Idaho Code, the Office of
17 Energy Resources is authorized no more than eighteen (18) full-time equivalent
18 positions at any point during the period July 1, 2008, through June 30, 2009,
19 for the program specified in Section 1 of this act, unless specifically
20 authorized by the Governor. The Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee will be
21 notified promptly of any increased positions so authorized.

This is the fiscal year 2009 appropriation for the Office of Energy Resources in the Office of the Governor in the amount of $3,116,600 of which $42,500 is from the General Fund, $2,165,400 is from dedicated funds, and $908,700 is from federal funds. The appropriation reflects the transfer of funding from the Department of Water Resources to a stand-alone office in the Office of the Governor.
