                                    SENATE BILL NO. 1505

                                    BY FINANCE COMMITTEE

  1                                        AN ACT
  2    APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL MONEYS TO THE SUPREME COURT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2009.

  3    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:

  4        SECTION 1.  In addition to the appropriation provided  by  law,  there  is
  5    hereby  appropriated to the Supreme Court the sum of $512,800 from the General
  6    Fund for the period July 1, 2008, through June 30, 2009, for  the  purpose  of
  7    increasing judicial salaries.

Statement of Purpose

This is a trailer appropriation bill for the Supreme Court for fiscal year 2009. The bill appropriates a total of $512,800 from the General Fund to cover the 3% salary increase for judges that was approved under House Bill 587.
