                                       IN THE SENATE

                                    SENATE BILL NO. 1308

                                    BY FINANCE COMMITTEE

  1                                        AN ACT
  2    APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL MONEYS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE FOR FISCAL  YEAR
  3        2008; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

  4    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:

  5        SECTION  1.  In  addition  to the appropriation made in Section 1, Chapter
  6    367, Laws of 2007, there is hereby appropriated to the Department of  Commerce
  7    the  sum of $1,120,000 from the Business and Jobs Development Fund for trustee
  8    and benefit payments for the  period July 1, 2007, through June 30, 2008.

  9        SECTION 2.  An emergency existing  therefor,  which  emergency  is  hereby
 10    declared to exist, this act shall be in full force and effect on and after its
 11    passage and approval.

Fiscal Note

This legislation provides an additional fiscal year 2008 appropriation for the Department of Commerce for the Business and Jobs Development fund. The bill appropriates $1,120,000 additional dedicated spending authority.
