                                    SENATE BILL NO. 1468

                                    BY FINANCE COMMITTEE

  1                                        AN ACT
  2    APPROPRIATING MONEYS TO THE OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR FOR THE OFFICE  OF  SPECIES
  3        CONSERVATION  FOR  FISCAL  YEAR 2009; AND LIMITING THE NUMBER OF FULL-TIME
  4        EQUIVALENT POSITIONS.

  5    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:

  6        SECTION 1.  There is hereby appropriated to the Office of the Governor for
  7    the Office of Species  Conservation  the  following  amounts  to  be  expended
  8    according  to  the  designated  expense  classes from the listed funds for the
  9    period July 1, 2008, through June 30, 2009:

 21        SECTION 2.  In accordance with Section 67-3519, Idaho Code, the Office  of
 22    Species  Conservation  is authorized no more than six (6) full-time equivalent
 23    positions at any point during the period July 1, 2008, through June 30,  2009,
 24    for  the  program  specified  in  Section  1  of this act, unless specifically
 25    authorized by the Governor. The Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee will be
 26    notified promptly of any increased positions so authorized.
