SENATE BILL 1359

WORKER’S COMPENSATION LAW – EXEMPTIONS – Amends existing law to provide that if the employer is the owner of a sole proprietorship, or a single member limited liability company that is taxed as a sole proprietorship the employment of members of an employer’s family dwelling in his household shall be exempt unless coverage is elected under the Worker’s Compensation law.
