ARTICLE XIII IMMIGRATION AND LABOR

Section 2.  Protection and hours of labor. Not more than eight hours actual work shall constitute a lawful day’s work, on all state and municipal works, and the legislature shall pass laws to provide for the health and safety of the employees in factories, smelters, mines and ore reduction works.
