Statement of Purpose / Fiscal Impact

                     STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

                             RS 12364

This bill strikes a requirement for an obsolete list of persons who
have been denied hunting and/or fishing privileges. This
information is now kept as part of the Department of Fish and
Game's computerized licensing system, and reported to Conservation
Officers. The requirement for a printed list is obsolete, and it is
unnecessary to report such information to license vendors. This
bill will allow the Department to more efficiently enforce the
license revocations, and will not burden the license vendors.
