HOUSE JOINT MEMORIAL 9

SAGE-GROUSE – Stating findings of the Legislature and urging Congress to continue to make no funds available for use by the Secretary of the Interior to consider, prepare, write, or issue a petition finding or proposed regulation for greater sage-grouse for a period of 10 years through and including fiscal year 2025; resolving that during such period the State of Idaho will continue to implement its sage-grouse conservation plan, thereby establishing and enhancing its efficacy over time; and resolving that Congress should by legislation recognize and encourage state primacy in the long-term management of sage-grouse and its habitat.
